euroAtlantic Airways announces agreement with Magma Aviation. National Boeing B767-300 Cargo has a new base in the centre of Europe

Last night, euroAtlantic airways (EAA) chairman of the Board of Directors Tomás Metello announced the position of his company’s Boeing B767-300ER Cargo on the Brussels National Airport (IATA code: BRU) in Zavatem, Belgium. This is the result of a trade agreement signed with Magma Aviation Limited, a private company, member of BACA (Baltic Air Charter Association), specialized in large cargo aircraft commercialization and management from anywhere in the world. Keep in mind that Tomás Metello’s company owns the only large Cargo aircraft of the national air fleet.

With this agreement with Magma Aviation, EuroAtlantic airways ensures the strategic positioning of an active freighter in the center of Europe, close to the northern European Community countries, whose economies take the forefront of recovery and growth. This benefits the Portuguese economy, because the agreement with Magma Aviation does not predict the formation of a Belgian tax law society. The Boeing B767-300ER capacities prove to be very interesting; it can carry loads up to 56.000 Kgs (56 tons) (125 thousand pounds) at distances of 5,800 km (3,100 nautical miles), increasing the operating range to 6,900 km (3700 miles Nautical), it carries volumes of 51.000 Kgs (51 tons) and also has conditions to transport live animals.

About euroAtlantic Airways: it was founded by the shareholder and Chairman of the Board of Directors /CEO, Tomaz Metello, with a shareholding participation from the Pestana Group (global hotel companies top 100).
