GOL Secures $160 Million Government-Backed Engine Maintenance Financing

GOL has secured a financing facility of up to US$160 million to fund eligible engine maintenance performed by GE Celma.

The Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul financing facility is supported by a guarantee structure provided by the Brazilian Agency for Management of Guarantee Funds and Guarantees (ABGF), which supports financing associated with Brazilian exports and services.

The facility allows multiple drawdowns under a master financing program, with proceeds used directly for eligible GE Celma engine shop visits and related ABGF guarantee costs. Each drawdown will have a 36-month tenor with quarterly debt service payments.

GOL said the financing provides a dedicated source of long-term funding for engine maintenance while supporting fleet reliability, liquidity and financial flexibility.

The transaction also diversifies GOL’s funding sources and reinforces its relationships with Citibank, GE Aerospace and ABGF.
