GOL Appoints André Fehlauer as CEO and Albert Perez as President and COO

GOL Linhas Aéreas has appointed André Fehlauer as its new Chief Executive Officer and expanded the role of current Chief Operating Officer Albert Perez, who will become President and COO.

Fehlauer will join GOL in September 2026, succeeding Celso Ferrer, who will step down as CEO on August 31 to pursue a new professional opportunity.

Fehlauer previously spent eight years with GOL as CEO of Smiles in Argentina and Brazil. He most recently served as CEO of Brazilian loyalty program Livelo and has also held positions at Citi and Credicard.

Perez joined GOL in early 2024 following more than two decades in aviation, including leadership positions at Avianca, JetSMART and Vueling. As President and COO, he will assume additional responsibilities while continuing to oversee the airline’s operations.

Ferrer has served as GOL’s CEO since 2022 and spent more than 20 years with the airline. During his tenure as CEO, he led GOL through its financial and operational restructuring and integration with Abra Group.

Abra Group said the new leadership structure will support GOL’s next phase of growth and value creation while maintaining strategic continuity across the group.
