China Aircraft Leasing Agrees to Sell Four Aircraft in Three Transactions

China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC) has entered into three separate aircraft sale agreements covering four aircraft, comprising one Airbus A321neo, one A320-200 and two Boeing 737-800s, with transactions scheduled for completion by the end of 2026.

Under an agreement signed on October 2, 2026, CALC will sell one Airbus A321-271NX to Japan’s Sojitz Corporation. The transaction, conducted through a wholly owned special purpose vehicle, is expected to close by December 31, 2026.

In a separate agreement dated October 16, CALC agreed to sell one Airbus A320-200 to Tianjin Jinqian Lease, a subsidiary of Sichuan Jinshi Leasing. The buyer is indirectly associated with Sichuan provincial state-owned interests. Completion is expected by October 31, 2026.

The third transaction involves two Boeing 737-800 aircraft being sold to Chongqing Yangtze River No.1 Aircraft Leasing, a subsidiary of Yangtze River Finance Leasing. The agreements were signed on September 30, 2026, with both aircraft scheduled for delivery by November 30, 2026.

CALC said the disposals form part of its regular aircraft trading activities, which include portfolio management, leasing, purchase and leaseback transactions, and aircraft asset management.

All three transactions qualify as discloseable transactions under Hong Kong Stock Exchange listing rules, with applicable transaction ratios exceeding 5% but remaining below 25%. The sales fall under the exchange’s qualified aircraft leasing activity provisions.

The company did not disclose the sale prices, aircraft serial numbers or existing lease arrangements associated with the four aircraft.
