Dubai Aerospace Enterprise Completes Sale-Leaseback of 10 Boeing 737-9s with United Airlines

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) has delivered the tenth and final Boeing 737-9 aircraft to United Airlines under a sale-and-leaseback agreement signed earlier in 2026, increasing its leased fleet with the carrier to 26 aircraft.

The transaction, completed within three months of documentation execution, follows a previous sale-and-leaseback arrangement between DAE and United Airlines in 2025.

The latest agreement covers 10 Boeing 737-9 aircraft and was executed in partnership with Equator and Mustang. DAE Capital will serve as the aircraft servicer under the arrangement.

Following completion, DAE’s portfolio leased to United Airlines comprises 26 Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 Family aircraft.

The Boeing 737-9 is powered by CFM International LEAP-1B engines and forms part of the 737 MAX family, which offers improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions compared with previous-generation aircraft.

DAE currently owns, manages or has commitments to own or manage approximately 1,000 aircraft, including 367 Boeing aircraft. Of those, 206 belong to the 737 MAX family.

The company did not disclose the financial terms of the sale-and-leaseback transaction or the duration of the leases.
