Fuji Dream Airlines (FDA) has placed a firm order for two additional Embraer E175 regional jets, expanding its all-Embraer fleet as it continues to strengthen regional connectivity across Japan.
The new aircraft will be configured with 84 seats in a single-class layout, with deliveries scheduled for 2027 and 2028. The order has been added to Embraer’s backlog and will increase FDA’s fleet to 17 E-Jets, comprising two E170s and 15 E175s.
Fuji Dream Airlines has operated Embraer aircraft since launching services in 2009 and has built a reputation for strong operational performance. The carrier reported a fleet schedule reliability rate of more than 99.8% over the past 12 months, reflecting the reliability of its regional operations.
The E175 is designed for high-frequency regional services and shorter routes, providing airlines with improved operating efficiency and passenger comfort while supporting continued network expansion.
